Mr. Suren Jain is Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (JPVL). He is a graduate in Production Engineering from Dr. Balasahab Ambedkar, Marathwada University and has a rich experience of about 31 years in various Technical and Commercial functions of Power business.
Mr. Jain started his career with Jaypee Group. Besides JPVL, he is holding positions in Leadership Role in many other companies of Jaypee Group. During his 31 years career with the Jaypee Group, he has participated across various functions to see the Group’s growth over years.
Presently designated as CEO & Managing Director, he is responsible for the entire operations including Finance, Commercial & Administrative functions of the existing operational Hydro as well as Thermal Power Plants of 2120 MW capacity. Mr. Jain also oversees the coal Mining operations of the company in MP and Sand Mining operations in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Suren Jain also plays an active role in the Group’s initiatives of “not for profit” education and rural development.
